Tallinn Russian museumTallinn Russian museum studies and introduces Russian culture in Estonia and establishes conditions for restoring, maintaining, collecting and displaying Estonian Russian cultural objects.
As a newly-established cultural institution that is still in the middle of busy renovations of the museum building and working on establishing its collections, the museum organizes temporary history and art exhibitions in order to realize its main activity.

Russian printed word in Tallinn from XIX century till the year 1940
An exhibition “Russian printed word in Tallinn from XIX century till the year 1940″ is opened for You. The exhibition shows how political and social processes did affect a publishing of Russian books in Estonia, also the general context of Russian language is exposed. An attention is paid to reforms of Russian writing language in 1708 and 1918.
A big part of exhibition is based on private collection of Alexandr Borissov.
