Dan Mikkin photo exhibition 14.11.19-12.01.20

In the Museum of Photography gallery are displayed two collections – Architectural Travels in the first room shows buildings in Estonia and elsewhere creating dialogues between neighbourhood structures and big city architecture. Most of the subjects are lesser known houses from late 20th century and the beginning of this millennium.

The Abandoned collection in the second room focuses on what happens to buildings after people have left the premises. Decay, onslaught of nature and new aesthetic quality that occur without human intervention. It captures fragile moments in history since the buildings pictured are in constant transition and several of them have already ceased to exist in this shape and form.
