In the front of the Childrens Museum Miiamilla you will find a pop-up exhibition In Our Hands<\/i>. Each day, the exhibition comes to life again as colourful clothes swing gently between the terrace columns like bright splashes of dreams in the wind. At first glance, it feels joyful and light-hearted \u2014 but hidden within are stories, wishes, and memories that we all carry with us. The exhibition invites both children and grown-ups to pause, wonder, and dream together.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The installation brings together the dreams of different generations and the many ways people hold onto hope. During heartfelt face-to-face conversations, the artist captured the gestures people made while speaking about their dreams \u2014 open hands full of possibility, crossed fingers wishing for luck, hands held close, or palms pressed together in quiet hope. From these moments emerged deeply personal dreams shared by both children and adults: dreams that are joyful, brave, meaningful, and sometimes just out of reach.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition shares the dreams of people of all ages, from one-year-olds to eighty-year-olds, reminding us that dreaming has no age limit. Visitors are invited to discover these hopes and wishes, recognise pieces of themselves in them, and reflect on their own dreams too: the ones they once had, the ones they still carry, and the ones that may have quietly changed over time.<\/span><\/p>\n
