Tallinn City Museum shared the city’s stories with tourism partners

How do tourists discover our museums? Tourism professionals play a key role in sharing the stories of Tallinn.

On April 27, Tallinn City Museum hosted an engaging and lively History Day for our tourism and travel industry partners – the people who help visitors experience the city’s museums, heritage, and hidden stories.

At the Tallinn City Life Museum and the Kiek in de Kök Fortifications Museum, tourism professionals stepped back into the Middle Ages to experience how the Brotherhood of the Blackheads once celebrated. Guests tested their aim in a traditional parrot-shooting tournament and uncovered the secrets of Tallinn’s bastion passages and its most powerful medieval defence tower.

And the best part? These experiences are open to everyone. Tallinn’s rich and fascinating past can be explored across all seven branches of Tallinn City Museum. Guided tours through historic museum houses and exhibitions offer playful challenges, medieval activities, and memorable adventures for both adults and children.
