Kiek in de Kök Fortifications Museum open from May19th
From Tuesday, May 19, 10 a.m.-5 pm, we are open again! On Thursdays the doors will be open until 8 pm.
Visitors are welcome again to Tallinn’s unique defense complex, Kiek in de Köki Fortications Museum. An adventurous ones can climb the stairs and walls of medieval defense towers, enjoy great city views, discover underground Tallinn in the mysterious bastion passages. The museum provides an overview of warfare and the defense of the city throughout history. The exhibition “Dannebrog and Estonia 1219 – 2019” is on display, introducing the events of the founding of Tallinn and the story of the Danish flag 800 years ago. Exhibition “Metapsychic Tallinn” takes the visitors to the dark world of occultists and psychics in Tallinn in the 1930s.
Also, we offer the city tours for small groups and orienteering games in the Old Town as an exciting social activity for adults and students.
