Camera Obscura Workshop

In this workshop, students will have the opportunity to delve into the history of photographic technology and experiment with constructing their very own device.

We will explore the era preceding the invention of photography, shedding light on how renowned painters employed camera-like instruments to streamline perspective in their artwork before the advent of photography. Each workshop participant will craft their own camera obscura and gain a fundamental understanding of optical principles.

This workshop is designed for students in grades I-III and high school.

Group Size: Maximum of 24 participants (For larger groups, students will be divided into separate smaller groups).
