Come and celebrate Independence Day on february 24th
in Kiek in de Kök fortifications museum

Come and celebrate Republic of Estonias Independence Day with Tallinn City Museum! Meet the Three Lions, go to tours and look the exhibitions.

The family day will begin at 10 am and last until 15 pm. It will all take place in Kiek in de Kök fortifications museum.

Celebrate the anniversary of the Republic on February 24 with the coat of arms lions! After the flag raising, come to the Kiek in de Kök Fortification Museum to warm yourself by the fire. You can get tea and pie.

Before the parade, go on a tour, play a history game and see the exhibits! The cannon tower is open on February 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Program:

Exhibition “Urban Animal”. A cow, a bug and a dragon in the history of Tallinn”

Puzzle and search game “Lions in the tower” in the Loquiz environment

Guided tour of the cannon tower at 11:00 and 13:30. The tour in estonian lasts approx. 45 min.

Discounted ticket for adults €5, free entry for under 18s.

NB! Only the Kiek in de Kök cannon tower is open in the museum that day. The remaining towers, wall passage and bastion passages are closed.

All other branches of Tallinn City Museum – Tallinn City Life Museum, Photo Museum, Miiamilla Children’s Museum, The People’s Museum of Tallinn, Kalamaja Museum, Peter I House – are closed on the Republic Day. The museums will be open again on Saturday, February 25.
