Photogram Printing Workshop

In this workshop, we will embark on an exciting journey of experimentation by creating our very own photograms. Throughout this immersive experience, participants will have the unique opportunity to become acquainted of working in darkrooms. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or a complete beginner, worry not – no prior darkroom experience is necessary, and the workshop fee covers all essential darkroom materials.

 

The photogram technique was used by Thomas Wedgewood before the official birth of photography in the 1800s. Unfortunately, fixers were not a known product and therefore no picture has been preserved. At the beginning of the 20th century, this artistic cameraless photographic method became immensely popular worldwide.

 

The workshop is adaptable according to age and target group.

 

Group size: max 16 students (in the case of a larger group, the students will be divided into separate groups)

 

The workshop can be booked in Estonian, Russian and English.
