A small exhibition about the history of Mustamäe at the Kännukuke Library
Come discover Mustamäe — a district familiar to many, yet brimming with hidden gems! It’s Estonia’s most stylistically pure example of modernist urban planning: a 1960s “dream city” where residential buildings, green spaces, and public transport were designed to deliver a brighter quality of life. More information can be found on the Mustamäe map and in the book “Unistuste Mustamäe: lood ja maitsed” prepared to complement the exhibition at the Tallinn City Museum, which is available in the reading corner.
The traveling exhibition based on the People’s Museum of Tallinn exhibition is located at the Kännukuke Library and will be open until the end of March.
