Art exhibition “Home”
This exhibition is dedicated to the artist’s home of Estonia in general and Tallinn in particular. The exposition comprises 25 works, most of which were created specially for this exhibition and are on public display for the very first time. The motifs are inspired by urban silhouettes and landscapes, from the city center with its dominating architectural features to the suburbs that stay in harmony with nature.
Every painting is the artist’s glance at a place that he finds interesting and precious. That is why this exposition is quite personal and even intimate. The artist compares the exhibition to a collection of poems or short stories in which the author, either fleetingly or pensively, notices the beauty of his home – the town and nature – that is so often overlooked by residents in a daily vanity.
The exhibition is open 3 – 26 of November.
