Read about the dreams: Alissa, Masha, Getter and Mark

The hands of Alissa, Masha, Getter and Mark (from left to right).

ALISSA (10)

My biggest fear is deep water. I’m also afraid of the dark. And of being alone. I want people to be happy. I wanted to become an animal doctor, but I love animals so much that I can’t…

When I grow up, I’m going to get a big dog. And I’m going to fly to the Maldives with him!

MASHA (14)

To me, it’s important that a person knows how to communicate, has common sense, and is empathetic. I value people who aren’t narcissistic, sexist, racist, or homophobic, and who respect other people’s boundaries. A good sense of humor also matters to me. At the same time, I’ve realized that many things that used to seem funny actually weren’t very kind. Personal experience helped me understand that. When I was little, I liked being friends with people who had a good sense of humor and who thought I was funny too — or simply with people I was able to get along with.

GETTER (27)

As a child, I wanted to become a shop assistant. I remember discovering that not everyone could afford food — it was very tragic for me. In my little mind, prices were controlled by the shop assistants. My plan was to become one and change the prices so that everyone in the world could eat.

The little world-saver in me still exists. I wish everyone could live in peace. I often feel a sense of helplessness. In the end, I guess it is probably enough that things are good for oneself and for those around us. People often talk about striving for happiness. I try instead to find peace, and to feel less guilt. I honestly don’t understand who served guilt so much “porridge” in the first place.

MARK (10)

I like kindness, honesty, and people with a big heart. I’m afraid of the dark, spiders, and the idea that I might not be able to deal with situations.

I try to keep the peace in my class so that the teachers can conduct their lessons without any problems.

I want to start a secret society made up of people who want to make the world a better place. I think I could do that with my friends.
