Visit the Bastion passages and the Museum of Carved Stone with an audio guide
The Kiek in de Kök Fortifications Museum introduces the fascinating history of the underground passages in the Bastion passages and the Museum of Carved Stone. The NutiMuuseum audio guide NUMU allows visitors to learn about this fascinating place in Estonian, English, Russian and Finnish.
Built in the 17th century, the Bastion passages beneath the Inger and Swedish bastions are now part of the Kiek in de Kök Fortifications Museum. A professionally compiled audio guide will also help individual visitors find their way in the passages. You can download an audio guide to your smart device or use a phone provided by the museum.
NUMU, or NutiMuuseum, which is Estonian for “Smart Museum,” is an application that brings together the diverse content of Estonian museums and offers an opportunity to enter the stories of the museums through the visitor’s personal smart device.
The Bastion passages and the Museum of Carved Stone can still also be visited as part of a guided tour, which can be booked in advance at the scheduled times and also by special arrangement, and is conducted in Estonian as well as several foreign languages.
