EKA TASE exhibition „Three Drops of Blood“ in Kalamaja Museum

An old forgotten suitcase was found in the Estonian National Archives. It contained what seemed to be sketches and materials of an unfinished video game. The suitcase was given to retro video game enthusiasts Camille Laurelli and Rainer Peterson who figured out that it was indeed a game from the late 1980s called “Kolm tilka verd” (“Three Drops of Blood”) that was never finished due to reasons unknown.
Students from the Estonian Academy of Arts with guidance from Laurelli remade visuals from the game based on the sketches, photos and notebooks found in the suitcase. They tried to resurrect the visuals of the game, drawing inspiration from the sketches, photographs, and notebooks found within the enigmatic suitcase. Their utmost goal was to capture the essence of the original creators’ vision.

This exhibition presents both the original contents of the suitcase and the newly made visuals.
