THE BASTION PASSAGES ARE ACCESSIBLE ONLY WITH GUIDED TOURS THAT HAVE TO BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.The tours are available in four languages: Estonian, English, Russian, and Finnish, and group size is limited to 20 persons.
The tour will take about 1 h 10 min to 1 h 15 min.
When making a booking, a visitor can opt to join a scheduled tour or in case of a larger group, commission a tour for their group.
Guided tours to the Bastion passages can be booked by calling (+372) 644 6686, by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or at the museum desk.
The tours are available in two formats. The regular scheduled tours take the visitor through the Bastion passages and the Carved Stone Museum and will end outside at Vabaduse väljak (Freedom Square).
However, when booking a tour for the full group, a group leader can also opt for a tour that excludes the Carved Stone Museum but includes a train ride through the tunnel heading towards the Swedish bastion (a special tour). The latter format is better suited for children.
Please note that temperature in the passages is 7-10 °C throughout the year and we have to navigate some rather steep stairs, so please dress appropriately!
Please note: We do not recommend taking children under the age of 7 to the Bastion passages guided tours!
