MUSEUM PROGRAMS
The education series of six programs ALL FEELINGS ARE ALLOWED
Through interactive games and activities, we get to know the emotional creatures that live inside us, give them names, and learn more about them. We explore what emotions look like and how they make themselves known. Each session focuses on one specific emotion:
Teachers can choose the order of the topics to best fit their group’s needs.
Target group: ages 4 to 1st grade
Duration: 60 minutes
In this lesson that prevents bullying, we learn how to be good, attentive, and caring companions. We discover shared traits in one another, explore feelings, and reflect on emotions. Using shadow theater, we observe a story that helps us understand both the feelings of the characters and the role of the observer.
This museum lesson was developed in collaboration with the “Free from Bullying” program of the Estonian Child Protection Association.
Target group: ages 4 to 1st grade
Duration: 60 minutes
Museum lesson LETTER BY LETTER
A creatively playful lesson introducing letters, forming words, creating sentences, and weaving stories together. The lesson engages the whole body and the museum space in the experience of language:
- Feel where sounds are created in the body
- Dance to the rhythm of letters
- Discover words and stories hidden throughout the museum
This hands-on, movement-rich approach makes learning letters and language a fun and memorable adventure.
Target group: ages 4 to 1st grade
Duration: 60 minutes
Outdoor lesson FINGERS IN THE SOIL
In this hands-on outdoor lesson, we will work in the Miiamilla mini garden to explore the natural cycle, learn about composting, and discover how to take care of nature. By gardening together, we develop a caring attitude toward the environment and an appreciation for the natural world.
Please wear clothes suitable for the weather and gardening when attending the lesson.

Museum lesson IN THE TINY STEPS OF AN ELF

We will learn to recognize elves, test our skills by delivering Christmas packages to the right recipients and explore how elves take care of the forest and lend a helping hand to winter birds and animals
